Drag Me to the Movies

Seeing Drag Me to Hell tonight with my cast and I couldn't be more excited. I've been waiting for this since they announced it. It is currently at 95% on RottenTomatoes and I don't remember the last time a horror movie (one rated PG-13, no less) was so universally praised. This jaded, practically unscareable horror fan is trying to keep his expectations low, just in case, but I have a feeling I'll be adding to the raves come 1:00 AM. Plus, I get to hang out with people I'm very much in love with right now. Double-Plus Good!

We'll be going for drinks and carousing afterwards, I'm sure. But I will post my review as soon as I get home.

More, anon.

No spoilers - IT IS GREAT! One of the best movies I've seen in years!

Jump in your seat scary, gross, funny, funny, squirm-inducing! It was great to see and hear the audience react - jumping, squirming, covering their eyes AND mouths.

The story has no holes or suspension of disbelief either. You won't be disappointed!

ps. Here kitty, kitty, kitty. Muhahahaha!! Still making me laugh hours later.

Have a great time - Sean

I completely agree and will doing the whole review very soon.

PS - I leaned over to D and said "here kitty, kitty" at least ten minutes before... we cried, laughing.

"Hang in there Baby"

Great review...glad you had a great time.

I thought I was the only one who appreciated that this was a smart, scary and entertaining movie and didn't need a bunch of curses and breasts to hold my attention - was afraid I was becoming a crotchity old man.

I'm taking my 12 yo nephew tonight - he's a huge horror/zombie fan.

Not on facebook, sorry.
