My husband and I had this great bird that was extremely friendly and talkative. Well, squawkative -- you coudn't understand him/her (never knew the sex).

Well, we were moving to a new town so we had a garage sale. It was beautiful sunny day, and since we were going to be outside all day, I decided to bring the bird in its cage outside.

Well, what I didn't account for was that it was a beautiful "breezy" day. A gust of wind suddenly kicked up and the cage tipped over, the bottom came off, and the bird flew out and up, up, up into these huge trees that surrounded my apartment building. We called, but I'm sure the poor bird couldn't hear us over the sound of the trees, traffic, etc.

I never saw the bird again. And I get very sad thinking about it. I always hoped it landed somewhere friendly.Nowaxnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1339363607453233331.post-12098888047756498252009-07-04T18:23:02.777-04:002009-07-04T18:23:02.777-04:00I am so sorry for you!
